The League Extraordinaire is a football scarf project that was established in 2015 by Dutch design studio Kern. Every year four of Kern’s favorite artists are invited to join their The League Extraordinaire. The number of scarves produced is limited to a one time for wich fans need to pre-order.

“We are five graphic designers who think they have the greatest job in the world, apart from pro football players. Our big affection for art and football led to the start of The League Extraordinaire.”

Mini Expo at TILT in Deventer
On 19 September, during the monthly Friday afternoon drinks at TILT Designhub in Deventer, Studio Kern presented the four new scarves from the eighth season of The League Extraordinaire. The designers and visual artists who created the scarves for the current season are 108 (Italy), Antigoon (the Netherlands), Rapapawn (Spain) and Sainer (Poland). In addition to the four brand-new scarves, work by the four scarf designers was also on display.
