Truly Truly is a design studio founded by designers Joel & Kate Booy. The studio tackles all manner of creative challenges, ranging across objects, furniture, lighting, textiles and spaces. The studio’s background in adventurous graphic design is the source of a continued love for brave colour and pattern.
Dark Matter Collection
In 2010, the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter captured images of black spots on the planet’s surface that are so dark that nothing inside can be seen. Imagining what might lie below the surface of these mysterious holes sparked the ‘Dark Matter’ collection of lights, in which each lamp was born from a separate hypothesis.
Seismic Collection
This collection of objects was inspired by the movement and vibrations that occur in an earthquake. The collection comprises three objects: a detailed table, a low table and a wall sculpture.
