Tulle Glass & Tulle Liquid

Marike Andeweg

Product | Craft | Material

Looking through a single layer of tulle feels like staring through a hexagonally perforated, color-dipped mist. By slowly shifting the viewing direction from the front to the side, this semi-transparancy starts to change into a denser color surface. This effect is enhanced by layering the tulle.

With Tulle Marike plays with perception. A matter of looking differently. Away from the obvious and first impression. Resulting in playful, light-hearted works of epoxy and glass wall and floor objects.

Tulle Glass & Tulle Liquid was on show during OBJECT Rotterdam 2024.
