The Stedelijk Museum has honored Wim Crouwel, the founder of Total Design, with the exhibition Wim Crouwel: Mr. Gridnik.

The exhibition is over and the museum is closed. To show the fantastic selection of his graphic design, we went through the exhibition with a camera and former curator Carolien Glazenburg.

Sit back and let yourself be taken into the world of Wim Crouwel, Mr. Gridnik, one of the most famous designers in the Netherlands and internationally renowned for his work for the Van Abbemuseum, company logos, the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, his type designs including of course the New Alphabet from 1967.
