From 19 to 27 October, Eindhoven will host the 23 edition of Dutch Design Week. Dutch Design Daily highlights a number of hidden gems during the festival period. Today Nieuw Zwanenburg in Oirschot.
Dutch Design Daily is currently busy developing its own in-depth themes. During Dutch Design Week, we launched the first new DDD theme_Countryside at Nieuw Zwanenburg.
Leonne Cuppen is one of the quartermasters of Nieuw Zwanenburg and developed the theme Countryside with us. She provided a tour of the ‘Land and Fiber Crops’ exhibit curated by her this afternoon. Also present were a number of designers who explained their work.

Nieuw Zwanenburg
Nieuw Zwanenburg is a working studio for the future where a collective works on a shared social mission. It is an independent production site where intrinsically inspired people with different backgrounds work together equally and in shared ownership. With the mission: grow and develop bio-based building materials for application in soil, road, hydraulic engineering with respect for soil, water and air.
