This stamp was launched on 1 March 2024. The stamp sheet ’50-350 grams’ is a new product and is part of PostNL’s basic range of permanent stamps.
The design consists of 3 capital letters G, as an abbreviation of gram, in 3 pastel colours. These colours are from the colour palette of PostNL’s new corporate identity. The letters shift relative to each other and intermingle. At the points where the letters intersect, a mixed colour is created as a sum of the colours. The capital letters G are not limited to the image area of the stamps, but continue on the adjacent stamps and on the edge of the sheet. The typography for the postage stamp name and country indication is set in black to enhance the graphic nature of the design and contrast with the pastel colours. This makes it a colourful stamp, with a cheerful, friendly and at the same time businesslike character.
