Patrick Aarts Sen

Patrick Aarts Sen is senior project manager at the BNO. Three years after studying Art Policy and Management at Utrecht University and as many jobs later, the BNO came into the picture quite unexpectedly. It turned out to be the perfect match. At the largest design community in the Netherlands, his fascination for designers and other creative makers, his passion for projects on education and presentation and his qualities as a motivator and organiser came and still come together.

For the BNO, Patrick is currently mainly occupied with developing and offering an educational offering that connects with the practice of designers. In that capacity, as programme manager, he is responsible for Driving Dutch Design, the professionalisation and networking programme of the Dutch design sector that has been helping driven designers on their way into the world of creative entrepreneurship for almost 15 years.
