Simone Kramer

Simone studied Communication Studies at the University of Groningen and worked as a consultant in communication and art & culture in business and government.

In 2007, she founded C-mone in order to bring the arts more into people’s lives through various initiatives (ARTicipate!). Such as the art of dance in public spaces in collaboration with the dance academy and theaters (including Tilburg Dansstad with Dansnacht, Talentweek, Urban House); heritage and film to express the meaning of the past for now and the future (including Treasures of Brabant, Ons Kloosterpad).

Recent initiatives are Social label (shop, studio, lab) in collaboration with designers and workshops for a socially sustainable economy and the Werkwarenhuis (Club W, expo, performance) in the context of creative area development Tramkade (placemaking).
