Timo de Rijk

Timo de Rijk (1963) has been director of Design Museum Den Bosch since 2016. He was previously professor of design history at TU Delft and Leiden University, and associate professor of Design Cultures at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. De Rijk was, among other things, editor-in-chief of the Dutch Design Yearbook and the magazine Morf, and chairman of the Association of Dutch Designers (BNO). He received his PhD from TU Delft and was trained as an art historian specialising in applied art at (Rijks)Universiteit Leiden.
