At the Apple Museum, we believe the story of Apple is about more than products. Apple defined history. It transformed the way we communicate, work, create and live. That’s why we opened the Apple Museum, as we want to preserve and share the remarkable story of Apple and its impact on our daily lives.

For 50 years, Apple has transformed technology and product design. Its journey – from the Apple I to iconic breakthroughs like the Macintosh, iPhone and iPad – tells a story about human-centered innovations, creativity and making complex technology into simple devices for daily lives.  At the Apple Museum we believe that these breakthroughs deserve more than nostalgia. They deserve a place where anyone can experience them first-hand.

Located at The Wall in Utrecht, the Netherlands, our museum brings the Apple story to life in a 2000m² designed space filled with multiple rooms, interactive exhibits, engaging displays, inspirational brand stories, and one of the most significant Apple collections in the world.

Why did we open the Apple Museum?
For decades, Apple’s history lived scattered across private collections, garages and memories. A dedicated team of volunteers and enthusiasts began gathering and restoring devices, manuals, accessories, prototypes and brand materials. What emerged was more than a collection: a place where Apple’s history can be experienced by curious visitors of today and the pioneers of tomorrow.

We opened the Apple Museum because these stories matter. They demonstrate how revolutionary ideas became reality, how design and technology intersect with everyday life and how an ambitious computer project in a garage set the course for global innovation. Whether you are a student and curious about computing, a designer inspired by Apple branding, or simply someone who loves great storytelling: the Apple Museum is made for you.

Our ambition is to inspire the next generation of pioneers. To encourage curiosity, bold questions, and the courage to challenge the status quo. Because today’s impossible ideas may shape tomorrow’s world.

The museum is more than a collection of devices. It’s a tribute to creativity, resilience, experimentation and the belief that technology can be personal, expressive and transformative.
