With Vertical Video, Amare shows new video work in public space every two months. In January and February, the interactive artwork ‘Spatial Resonance’ (2025) by Daniël Maarleveld will be shown.
In my work, I continuously explore how new visual output can emerge by experimenting with digital principles and logic. In doing so, I try to approach digital media intuitively. By setting clear preconditions in advance, space is created to experiment and discover new forms within those frameworks. I want to make this process accessible to a wide audience. That’s why I chose an interactive work in which passersby create the image themselves. No two images will be the same.”

Visitors create the artwork by moving. Their movements are transformed and projected, visible from different floors of the building. This forms a connection to the floors.
