Pim van Baarsen

Pim van Baarsen (1987) graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven and already during his studies, as co-founder, founded the company Super Local. In the following 10 years, Pim specialised in combining innovative design with local knowledge, materials & techniques, finding sustainable and socially responsible solutions to real problems worldwide. The established productions with resulting products in places like Nepal, Malawi and Rwanda are still running! Since 2023, in addition to being an autonomous designer and ideas cannon, Pim has also been a speculative design consultant specialising in ‘Future-Design’ and ‘Seventh Generation Thinking’.
