Post NL, the Dutch postal service, has unofficially* produced a stamp celebrating St. Patrick’s Day and Irish goalscoring sensation Troy Parrott, who plays for Dutch side AZ Alkmaar.
The ‘St. Parrott’s Day’ stamp, designed by Irish designers The Stone Twins, based in Amsterdam, is produced for St. Patrick’s Day on March 17 and Ireland’s World Cup play-off against Czech Republic on March 26.

Troy Parrott, the 24-year-old striker, scored all five goals in Ireland’s sensational wins against Portugal and Hungary last November, securing the country’s place in the playoff. Since then, Parrott has continued his prolific form with AZ Alkmaar, currently tallying 28 goals in all competitions.
The stamp is strictly unofficial and strictly limited.
