During GLUE Amsterdam

Vakvrouwen is a collective of self-employed women from various technical disciplines, specialized in designing and making custom furniture.

Our professionalism is based on historical experience: forty years of combined professional women’s expertise and creativity. This enables us to translate the customer’s wishes into a personal design in a short time; with a unique, handmade piece of furniture or a complete (re)furnishing of your home or office as a result. We are also happy to give valuable heirlooms a facelift by repairing and restoring old furniture.

Our rich history and extensive portfolio give a clear picture of an unclear work in which reliable communication, intuition, perfectionism, and sustainability are central. In addition, we represent women in technical professions and we inspire young women to work with their hands.

GLUE Amsterdam
GLUE Amsterdam – connected by design – is a four days design-route for Amsterdam designers, the general public, architects, brands, labels, showrooms, galleries, academies and other colleagues. It takes place from Thursday 14 until Sunday 17 September 2023.
