Driving Dutch Design is the professionalisation and networking programme of Beroepsorganisatie Nederlandse Ontwerpers (BNO), Dutch Design Foundation (DDF) and Stichting Stokroos that helps talented designers get started in the world of entrepreneurship. Over the next few days, we show the Drivers of 2023, Korinna van Balkom is one of them.
Korinna van Balkom is a fashion studio that empowers creatives to express themselves through exclusive fashion items. For Korinna, fashion is more than just clothing – it’s a powerful means of self-expression and confidence.
When we are not aligned to our values, we can’t live up to them. Our potential is limited and sooner or later other people feel this. However, when we honor our ideals, remarkable things happen. People see and appreciate us for who we are, which will give us a feeling of ease, peace and happiness.
As a fashion designer, Korinna has learned that creatives appreciate her systematic and sharp design approach and that they experience a strong connection with the talented designers and artists that she collaborates with. Additionally, by producing items locally and on request using environmentally conscious materials, Korinna’s designs meet the demand to make a positive impact on the environment.
Through this approach, Korinna empowers creatives to express themselves authentically, offering them exclusive fashion items for their unique self-expression.
