Driving Dutch Design is the professionalisation and networking programme of Beroepsorganisatie Nederlandse Ontwerpers (BNO), Dutch Design Foundation (DDF) and Stichting Stokroos that helps talented designers get started in the world of entrepreneurship. Over the next few days, we show the Drivers of 2023, Lonneke Hoogstede is one of them.

My passion lies in bringing design to life, enabling me to assist museums, schools, and tourist organizations in making information and inspiration accessible to everyone. For me, culture and education serve as a bridge to marvel people about the past, the future, and understanding the world around us.

My design process is inspired by art and craftsmanship. I approach my work with curiosity and intuition, while keeping a clear goal in mind. As a campaign designer, I have learned how behavioral techniques can inspire and move people.
Driving Dutch Design
The DDD masterclasses have helped me focus on my favorite clients. Previously, I was available for all types of customers, ranging from construction companies to theaters and retailers. However, I discovered that a focused mission in education and the cultural sector provides me with much more direction in my entrepreneurship.
