REFLECT
Fashion designer Aziz Bekkaoui is curator of fashion exhibition ‘REFLECT’ in WOW. In the exhibition, he shows his vision on trends and developments in fashion.
In the exhibition, Aziz puts various young talents in the limelight. All of them show outfits expressing the relationship between their designs and today’s society and Zeitgeist. Maison the Faux, for example, shows a coat made of textile waste and Karin Vlug presents a design from her collection ‘One square fits all’: a series of pieces of fabric (based on the Ikea DIY packages) which the wearers themselves can put together at home with a few simple interventions.
Opening
During the opening on Saturday, December 13, the designers will be present while models wearing additional outfits designed by the young talents will mingle with the public. The doors open at 5 pm; the opening takes place at 5.30 p.m. and lasts until 7 pm.
